Five men were arrested and charged for having 17.272 kilograms of marijuana and three boat engines in a boat in which they were travelling.

Rohan Ebanks, Winston Grant, Barrington Gayle, Dwight Watson and Dale Cooke were all charged with unlawful possession of property, possession, dealing in, taking steps to export and conspiracy to export marijuana.

On October 3, the men were spotted travelling in a boat in Hellshire Pond. When they were stopped and searched the engines and eight parcels of compressed marijuana were discovered.

The men were to appear before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday however, they were not brought.

The case will be mentioned on October 13.
