Farmer's body found

The body of 55-year-old Ronald Bartley who was reported missing on Saturday, was discovered in bushes in Christiana, Manchester, on Sunday morning.

Bartley, a farmer of a Wildman Street, Christiana address, left home for his farm at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. When he did not return home as expected, a report was made to the Christiana police.

At about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, a search was launched and his body, with multiple chop wounds, was found. The police were called and the body was taken to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.

The Christiana police, who have launched an investigation into the killing, say no motive has been established for the killing, and no suspect has been identified.
