THE EDITOR, Sir:

The recently concluded 'silly season' was definitely one of surprises and more surprises. On Friday, December 8, 2006. I was reading the Weekend Star as usual and I saw on the front page 'Tis the season for weddings', Prodigy and Chrissy D getting hitched. I read all the details inside. I am always happy to see celebrities building a relationship together, what I do not like to see is the break-up.

I am almost sure that this will not be in Chrissy D and Prodigy's case, because it has been said that this relationship is signed and sealed by God, and if they allow God to be the centre of it, they can overcome all obstacles. My grandmother always used this phrase, 'If Christ is in the vessel, you can smile at the storm', and I am quite sure that He is not slack to his promises.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark-to-be, I am with this relationship 100 per cent, despite the age difference. I am happy that this is no problem to you or your families. The important thing is that you are mature adults, who know what you want and are making an effort to make it happen on a very special and romantic day such as Valentine's Day. In fact, if I should get married in the future, my eyes are set on this special day also.

My advice to you both in closing, is to go with God, do your thing, start having kids soon, have fun, and please remember to pray together. God bless you.
