THE Editor, Sir:
Let me use this opportunity to apologise to my father, Miguel Martin, and the rest of the Martin family for an error in my Star letter of Friday, December 22, 2006, captioned, 'Wrapped in a destructive cocoon'.
Here is the line for which I am apologising. 'My father Miguel Martin, and my dead uncle, Alexander Martin, must be turning in their graves to see the degradation of Cocoon'. This line suggested that my father is dead. Now, I want everyone to know that my father, Miguel Martin, a.k.a. 'Phantom', is alive and well. It is my uncle, Levi Martin and my uncle, Alexander Martin, a.k.a. 'Sir Rox', who are deceased.
Sorry daddy for such a misleading statement. Nuff respect and more life.
I am, etc.,
Allan Martin
