Dear Pastor,
Greetings to you in the name of the most high. I am 22 years old and I badly need your advice and prayer.
I am in a relationship with a man who is very abusive. He ties me up and beats me. He accused me of having another boyfriend (which I didn't have) and this has left me stressed out and confused. I cannot go on the road not even to visit my family. I went to the police to have him arrested and they did nothing. He has threatened to kill my family and me. He is a pain in the rear. I don't love him but he says if he can't have me, he will kill me and the person I am with. This man is so mad that he put scotch bonnet pepper in my underwear while it was on the line.
Please continue the work you are doing. Please pray for me. I am walking to my grave. May God bless you.

Dear V.E.,
You need to leave this man but before you do you need to go back to the police station and ask them to allow you to speak to the officer who is in charge of the station. You also need to put in writing what you are going through and hand it to the office and keep a copy of it. Explain everything in the letter and ask the officer to give you protection.
You also need to tell the police that you want to take out a restraining order against this man. He/she may advise you to speak to the clerk of the court or to see a lawyer.
Don't allow this man to intimidate you. Leave him and do so without delay.
Pastor
