Dear Pastor,

I am writing this letter because we as Jamaicans are a disgrace to the world and unless we stop behaving like common dogs, then our people will be history.

Why do most Jamaican men and women sleep around like dirty dogs, regardless of the quality partners that are in their lives? Most Jamaicans do not realise that sleeping around with other people's mates doesn't make them valuable to society. They do not realise that their nasty behaviour places them in the garbage with all of the other waste.

Pastor, can you tell that I am bitter? This has happened to me so many times and I refuse to join the dogs. Thank you for understanding and sorry for my description.

Dear M.D.,

You write as a foreigner but Jamaican men are not the only ones who sleep around. North American men and women also sleep around. Would you describe them as "dirty dogs?" There are decent Jamaican men and there are decent Jamaican women.

There are decent women and men from other countries and there are those who are very immoral.

What everyone needs to understand is that whether the man/woman is from North America, the Caribbean or other parts of the world, he or she can be morally upright or grossly immoral. Therefore, it is unfair to condemn a person on the basis that he/she is from a particular country and cannot be expected to do what is right.

Have you not studied history? Men in high places from North America have slept around. Their women have done the same. I can name some of them. You better wash your mouth with soap and don't be rude. Don't you try to insult our Jamaican women or even our men because some have done things that we are not proud of.
