Big Shot Invitational at KC tomorrow

Jamaica's top throwing talents will be on show at the third Big Shot Invitational at Kingston College tomorrow. Action begins at 9.00 a.m.

The biggest shot will be Ramone Birch of Jamaica College (JC). Birch has the season's best throw - 15.65 metres and is favoured to keep the former Class Two rivals Sean Samuels of Calabar and Keiton Wilson of KC at bay in Class One.

Samuels and Wilson had a fierce competition at the Douglas Forrest with Samuels besting Wilson with a throw of 15.09m to 14.89m.

Sponsored by Gatordate and Western Sports, the Big Shot will see Birch leading a formidable JC trio in the Class One discus. Birch, Damion Johnson and Shane Dodd.
