Two shot dead in separate incidents

The Denham Town CIB is investigating the murder of a 44-year-old man who was shot dead by gunmen on Baker Street, Kingston 12, on Friday.

Reports are that at about 3:10 p.m., Cedric White, who was of a Greater Portmore address, was in front of a business on Baker Street when two gunmen approached him. The men opened fire hitting him several times. They also escaped with White's licensed Beretta 9mm pistol. He was pronounced dead at the Kingston Public Hospital.

Also on Friday, 26-year-old David Johnson otherwise called 'Patrick', was shot dead in the Kingston 16 area.

Reports are that at about 11:00 p.m.,. residents heard explosions and alerted the police. When they arrived, Johnson was found at the intersection of Tower Street and Lower Elletson Road, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
