The Editor, Sir:
Good day to you. I hope you are fine. I am a 65-year-old woman. I have no kids. My husband is dead. I am in need of somewhere to live. My home is in a bad condition. I can't work to help myself anymore, only my church sister and other folks give me some food. When it's raining I can't sleep in peace; the roof is not good, it's very bad. I go to the Member of Parliament but it's only promises, no help so please publish this for me so that I might get some help from whomever can help me with the money or material.
I am living in St. Mary. I don't have a cell phone. My church sister has a house phone near me. I can be contacted there. She gave me permission to use the phone anytime. I am Mrs. Guesta Rhoden or 'Icy'. I am appealing to any one of the DJs and singers who can help out the situation like Capleton, Buju, Beenie, Tony Rebel, Gregory Issacs, DYCR. I am from the St. Mary area. I am living in Islington near the high school, up past the school after Mr. Beacher's Supermarket. Maybe Lady Saw, Spice and Macka can help out as well. Any kind Jamaican citizen; I will be more than thankful. I don't have any other choices right now. The number is 994-4825. I am there from 9:30 a.m. until sometimes at 8:00 p.m. and any one who wishes to contact me can leave a message with Miss Bev if they do not get me. Take care now. I hope I get some response as soon as possible.
I am, etc.,
