A man was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his home in Newtown district, Sandy Bay, Hanover, yesterday.

Dead is 46-year-old Paul Daley otherwise called "Iyah Paul."

The CCN's Liaison Officer for Hanover is reporting that about 3:00 a.m., residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On the arrival of investigators, Daley's body was found with gunshot and stab wounds. The crime scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue for post-mortem examination.

The Sandy Bay Police are investigating.
