The body of businesswoman and returning resident Mrs. Pauline Reynolds-Buchanan, 59, of Flagaman District, St. Elizabeth, was found at her home at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that a friend was calling Mrs. Buchanan, sister-in-law to Information Minister, Donald Buchanan, on her phone and when she did not answer, he went to the house, where he discovered her body on the bedroom floor.

The police upon investigating, found wounds to the upper section of her body, her head, face and chest region.

Investigations also revealed that the culprit gained entry through the roof and ransacked the room. A 1991 white Mazda 323 motorcar registered 8735 BJ, was missing from the house.

The Pedro Police have not established a motive for the murder but are continuing their investigation.
