A 23-year-old man facing murder charges will need to settle his legal representation before his next court appearance on April 10 in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court.
Twenty-three-year-old Collin Gentles was remanded in custody on Wednesday when he was brought before the court to answer murder charges.
He was arrested on February 28 in relation to the shooting death of 27-year-old Andrew Scott of Glendevon, St. James earlier that month.
Allegations are that Scott and two witnesses were on the road talking when they saw the accused, who they knew, and three other men - all armed with guns - approaching them. The witnesses ran while Scott said he would not run.
The witnesses allegedly heard explosions and later found the deceased suffering from gunshot wounds to the face.
Gentles was pronounced dead at hospital.
