Dear Pastor,
I am a 17-year-old girl. I have been with a guy for more than two years. We were planning to get married in the summer but I was still sleeping around. I didn't feel it was wrong because I was only having a bit of fun at college. I do love him.
Now, we have broken up because he got too demanding and I wanted to feel and act my age. I still love him and want him back. What should I do?
A. B., Birmingham, England
Dear A .B.,
It is never good to sleep around. And to use the excuse that you were only having fun at college is not good enough. Your colleagues at school will always remember that you made yourself cheap. Even when you graduate and have a good job, whenever your name is called they will talk about you with disdain. The life a person lives on campus will never be forgotten by his/
her school mates.
You are only 17 years old but you are old enough to understand that it is important to have good morals. You embarrassed the guy who truly loved you by playing around with other men. Accept the fact that he is gone. Don't try to beg him to come back because he will never forget what you did and he will mention it from time to time. So consider the relationship dead.
