Quinesa McKenzie's family seeks missing girl

Quinesa McKenzie - file

The family of a 14-year-old girl who has not returned home for almost two weeks is asking her come home.

Now, almost two weeks later, her family is begging her to come back home. Quinesa McKenzie went missing last Wednesday when she went to school and did not return home.

Florence Gayle, the young girl's grandmother, was so concerned that she journeyed to our offices in Kingston to have a story done to help her find her granddaughter. "One of her friends give us a number for a man that she suppose to be with and when wi call di number di man tell her mother pure bad word," she said.

That has made the family even more worried as they have not been successful in finding the girl. The family has tried in vain since her disappearance to find her and despite all their attempts, she cannot be found. Her grandmother said she has also not returned to school since she was last seen there.

The family is asking anyone who has seen Quinesa to call 369-6559, 880-4975 or the Hunts Bay police.
