Dead bodies found in Kingston

The bodies of two men were discovered in separate locations in Kingston yesterday.

The body of Lincoln Brown, 37, otherwise called 'Tiger', of Moore Street, Rose Town, Kingston 13, was found with gunshot wounds in an open lot in Trench Town, Kingston 12.

Reports are that at about 9 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the police. The body was found to have a number of gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Denham Town CIB theorise that Brown was killed elsewhere and his body dumped where it was found. He was last seen alive at home at about 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Denham Town CIB has started an investigation into the discovery of the body of a delivery man on Georges Lane.

The dead man has been identified as 33-year-old George Lawrence, of Stony Hill, St. Andrew.

Truck commandeered

Reports are that at about 8:30 a.m., Lawrence was driving a truck and delivering sodas with two other men in the Ocean Boulevard area of the Kingston Mall. While in the area, a Toyota Corolla car drove up with a number of men aboard. The truck was commandeered by the men who drove away with the men aboard.

About half an hour later, the truck, minus its cargo, was found in the Kingston western area. The two men were also found. They had been tied up. At about 2 p.m., Lawrence's body was found with multiple stab wounds. His hands and feet were bound. Police also believe that he was killed elsewhere and his body dumped.

The other men are being interviewed.
