'Bootleg' gas in demand
Thanks to some motorists who complain about the high cost of gas, the operation of illegal gas stations continues to be a thriving and lucrative business venture. THE STAR recently went on an undercover probe into the operations of three illegal stations.
 
Three killed in 'Town', Mobay
A teenager is among three individuals killed in separate incidents in Kingston and St. James on the weekend. Dead is 19-year-old Phillip Richards, otherwise called 'Monkey Man' of a Nine Miles, Bullbay address.
 
Fires ravage Kingston homes
In separate incidents on Saturday, fire destroyed two dwellings and left one man dead after his four-bedroom house was set ablaze by arsonists. Dead is 67-year-old Deniaha Lindo of Slipe Pen Road in Kingston.
