Sanjae Sterling, Star Writer
Nicholas Stewart, aka Tadius, hails from Thornton District in St. Elizabeth.
Describing himself as a fun-loving humanitarian, he began singing at the age of nine at the Thornton Church of God Seventh Day.
It was at this point that he developed a passion for music and is noted for his performances at events put on by his com-munity and past schools.
After he had left school, Tadius hit the road to pursue his music career. He moved to Kingston where he grew lyrically and began adding elements of what he saw occurring around him to his music.
"Here, I began writing more songs, relating to people life and things I see happening around. I always get good encouragement to continue music and strive for the best from the people around me," he says.
He also added that he knows that his strength is in his melodious voice, as people have always complimented him on this. He says that his inspirations are a lot of things but mainly comes from nature: the sun, the moon and stars, artistes like Bob Marley and Sizzla, and above all else, Jah.
Tadius is known for his latest track Kutchie Come released in May of this year on the 'I Shall be Released' rythmn. He says that his latest track Murder in the Streets II with Admiral Tibet will be on the streets soon.
Bent on making it big in the entertainment world, Tadius, as he was speaking with THE STAR, was also heading to the Black Mangena studio in Mona. Tadius wants everybody to know that he will be remembered as an artiste who sang redemption songs for the people around the world.
