The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) is reporting four murders since Monday across the island, all of which were gun-related.
On Monday, the body of 26-year-old Errol Chantiloupe, otherwise called 'Micky' of Clifton Road, was found around 2:55 p.m. with gunshot wounds in a gully at Jackson Road in the Kingston 10 area.
In Clarendon, 45-year-old shopkeeper Andrew Wint of Glenmuir Heights, May Pen, died when three men armed with guns entered his business and demanded money. When their demand was not met, they opened fire, hitting him and two other elderly men. Wint, who was taken to the hospital by the police, died while the others were admitted.
Yesterday, 40-year-old mason, Tasawa Anderson, also known as 'Junior' and 'Pan Head, of Fernando Road, Southborough, St. Catherine, and Central Road, Greenwich Town, was shot and killed by two gunmen on South Circular Road as he was mixing concrete for a nearby construction site. On the same day, the body of 21-year-old Dane Pinnock, otherwise called 'Rambo', of Chatham, St. James, was found riddled with gunshots on Phoenix Road,Trelawny, around 1:15 p.m. by passers-by.
