Prendy's On The Beach gives fathers royal treatment

With the common complaints that men are forgotten on Father's Day, one businesswoman made sure that males figured prominently on that day.

Donnette Prendergrast of 'Prendy's On The Beach' did just that for several fathers as they were given royal treatment at her Father's Day celebrations at Hellshire Beach. Here, they were serenaded, given special prices on seafoods and also given samples of Zion Organic and ginseng roots drinks.

"I believe that the man is an integral part of the household and needs to be treated as such and we have always been giving treats and goodies to the mothers, and the fathers must be equally treated," Prendergrast said.

She said that being a father is more than just getting a child, it covers role models and the general care factor in a paternal way. It is for this reason why she named the night's activities 'Up You Super Dads'.

Several men told THE PORTMORE STAR that they appreciated the gesture and hoped that it would be continued.
