A high-scoring Sunday

Passagefort United's Hakeem Brown (left) unleashes a shot as a Naggo Head FC player watches during a Senator Arthur Williams Portmore Under-15 Football League match at the Passagefort playing field on Sunday, June 17. Naggo Head won 1-0.

Some 27 goals were scored in six matches in the Senator Arthur Williams Portmore U-15 Football League last Sunday.

Cumberland, as expected, mauled Caymanas Gardens FC 8-0, while Rodwood FC had a similar 8-0 drubbing of Passagefort FC.

In other games, Daytona beat Westchester 3-1, Wanderers tagged Cedar Grove 2-0, Naggo Head clipped Passagefort United 1-0 and Greater Portmore and Dunbeholden drew 2-2.

It would have been alot more goals, if last year's beaten finalist Hamilton Gardens were able to play invited team Jose Marti who failed to show, giving the former three points.

Meanwhile, two matches are scheduled today at the Naggo Head playing field, as Cedar Grove tackles Portmore Pines at 1:30 p.m., and Naggo Head plays Hamilton Gardens at 3:30 p.m.
