Portmore Flames turn on the heat on first timers Majesty Gardens to win 88-84 in last Tuesday's KFC-sponsored National Basketball League match at the Stadium Court.

Portmore Flames' Adrian Coote had a monster game, scoring a game high 37 points, while Kenardo Smith added 20 points, and defensive player Christopher Sancroft contributed 10 points.

Leading the way for Majesty Gardens was Boldon Todd with 25 points, and Barrington Bell who scored 18 points.

In the second game of the evening, defending champions Urban Knights clipped Arnett Gardens Rockers 66-64 in a close encounter.
