The Editor: Sir,
I felt so disgruntled regarding the different results in the Bob Woolmer case. I think there were too many different results being published time after time, over and over. This only showed how unprofessional our local investigators are. I think we took too long to bring out the facts to the world.
"Wi look bad fi Jamaicans." I think this case should have been thoroughly be investigated by the relevant authority before any announcement was made public. Too much verdicts and press conferences without any positive results were done. The relevant authorities were probably just guessing, and I am certain that this is how it appeared to many Jamaicans around the world.
First if I were an investigator, I would keenly investigate his speech input when he last spoke to some people just to find out if he was stressing about something in particular. I would find out from his family, if he was ailing. Not learning about Bob's health could have been a minus in the investigations. Maybe he fell ill during his stay at the hotel and he was there struggling because he had nobody to assist him.
I think the Jamaican Authority should try their utter best to protect the rights of Jamaicans and try to act faster and more efficient in their investigations.
I am, etc.,
