Falmouth health system needs more manpower

The Editor: Sir,

It is clear that the human resources available for manning the Falmouth Health Centre are inadequate to deal with the large numbers of persons who visit that facility. However, what is clear is that distinct systems are in place to deal with the heavy traffic and these systems are working fairly well.

I have visited the Falmouth Health Centre a couple of times for health care and I'm particularly impressed with the care delivered at the Dental Clinic. There, Dr. Cooke and his team offer excellent care to those visiting the clinic, and it is clear that the doctor and his team observe strict time management. Patients are now able to get dental care and leave the clinic early every day.

The lack of personnel at the registration desk seems to be affecting the work of Dr. Cooke and his team. I hope the management of the health centre will make available the relevant personnel, so that people can continue to enjoy high-class dental care at the Falmouth Health Centre.

I am, etc.,

HUGH ANDERSON BLAIR
