Dear Pastor,
I am living in America for the past three years and I have been in a relationship with a guy since we were 17 years old. When I left Jamaica we communicated very often. We talked on the phone a lot, but lately I am having second thoughts. I really love this guy, but I think I love him too much and I want to end the relationship. I know I will hurt him and I don't want to. I also know that he loves me very much, but a long distance relationship is too hard.
What should I do? I really need your help!
K., U.S.A.
Dear K.,
Long distance relationships don't always work. But for those who have remain faithful to each other can say that it was love that has kept them together. When people love and trust each other, they go the extra mile for each other. You are very young and you are not sure whether this man will be faithful to you or if you will be faithful to him. So, both of you should talk frankly about it and decide whether you should continue the relationship or move on.
