Omar Rose
Omar Rose's selection to the Combined Martial Arts Team was slow in coming due to his height. However, the man known as a master of ring craft, was the first to break into the Combined Team lighter than heavyweight. Prior to joining the Combined Team, he had already chalked up a world championship middleweight victory at the Seido World Championship. Since making the squad, Rose is yet to lose a match in international competition and recently won the middleweight division at the McKay Security World Zendo open. He is also one of the favourites for the Grand Champion-ship at the June 30 Jamaica Seido Open. Rose's mat position for the Continental World Championship in Orlando is yet to be decided as the team often uses him when the competition least expects him.
Nicholas Dussard

As an 18-year-old, Nicholas Dussard is already one of the most recognisable faces in Jamaican martial arts. He ruled the inter-national scene and won back-to-back Pan-Am gold medals prior to entering the adult division recently. He has held the sole junior spot on the Combined Team since 16 and has never lost a match. Dussard's mat position is undecided for the Continental World Championship in Orlando as he had been withdrawn from the team for the past eight months, preparing for external examinations at Wolmer's High.
His fitness and conditioning might be less than desired just now, but based on his record, he should be ready in time and great things are expected of him in Orlando.
