Being an entertainer and a family man is no easy affair, and STAR Artiste of the Month, Prodigal, knows that better than most.
Ministering on the road doesn't always leave time for his wife, two daughters and son. However, Prodigal always tries to reserve a little 'daddy time' for his children.
Daddy time involves spending time with the children and doing whatever they want to do.
"Truth is, it's not easy (balancing career and family) but I try," the artiste told THE STAR.
"I try not to stay away too long, not for more than two to three months at a time. My wife is my manager, so she travels with me."
"If it's summer and I go away for months, I might take the kids with me. When I'm here, I try to spend as much time with them as possible. But they know that to me this is more than a career, it's a ministry. I want to leave that legacy unto my kids," he commented.
On his kids' part, he knows that they understand that he is both daddy and an entertainer. They have come to learn to accept the extra attention that comes with that. However, according to Prodigal, to his baby girl, he is simply daddy.
