ALLIEDFORCE, who campaigns as the country's third best stayer, behind MIRACLE MAN and DISTINCTLY IRISH, should win his second Open allowance race in two months tomorrow afternoon when he faces eight rivals at 1700 metres.

Trained by Noel Ennevor, ALLIEDFORCE won the St. Leger last year but found older horses such as MIRACLE MAN and DISTINCTLY IRISH too tough in Graded Stakes at the backend of the season.

ALLIEDFORCE won his first Open Allowance race in January of this year and another in May. However, the conditions allow him another crack at the level before he is back among the big boys and Ennevor's runner has certainly looked the part at exercise in the mornings.

With a stern pace expected upfront among CHADMAN, TOBAGO and PURE MUD, ALLIEDFORCE should be closing fast at rivals off the final turn.

The chestnut colt is a far better two-turn horse, suited to nine furlongs and 25 yards or 10 furlongs as he lost his last two races out of the chute, not quickening down the backstretch.

However, there is no holding speed with enough class to keep him off the pace of tomorrow's race, as the likes of CHADMAN and TOBAGO are too heavy to last the distance on the lead.

NATURAL DESIRE, who shocked Overnight Allowance when winning in a super 1:38.3 at a mile on June 16, could be a dangerous contender but he was safely measured by PURE MUD in his previous outing at 10 furlongs.

ALLIEDFORCE's main threat could be Anthony Nunes' ALPHA LUPA, who will also be waiting for the leaders to fold. He will carry 50.0 kilos with apprentice Andre Martin and is bound to run good after closing willingly behind CLASSY BOY PETE at 1300 metres on June 27.

Jackpots at $1.5m

There were 10 winning Pick-9 tickets last Saturday, each picking up $260,000, sending the bet back to its $1 million guarantee. The Super-6 was also caught and will open at tomorrow's sixth race with $500,000 up for grabs.

Ennevor should post a double as THE SMOKER was smooth in victory on May 23 when coming off a one-year lay-up. The grey gelding was classic material a year ago and should have the beating of four-year-olds, non-winners-of-four, at 1700 metres in the sixth event for the Aston Commock Memorial.

OLE KING COLE, back to a distance of his liking after his June 27 attempt at 1200 metres, is bound to run a big race and cannot be taken lightly, considering his previous efforts against ABENG and PURE MUD.

Tomorrow's bankers are DIGI N' JIGGY in the second event, TIME OF MY LIFE in the third, OUTFITHER in the fifth and MILLION DOLLARBABY in the eighth.

DIGI N' JIGGY is down in class among claimers and TIME OF MY LIFE will have to be caught up in class, bidding for back-to-back wins at 1100 metres.

OUTFITHER is too classy for three-year-olds, non-winners-of-two, and MILLION DOLLARBABY should shed the maiden tag with lasix administered for the first time.
