A pedal cyclist was killed on the Rowlandsfield main road in St. Thomas on Monday.
Dead is Headley Reid, 65, of Haining district, Portland. Police reports say at 10:30 a.m. Reid was riding his bicycle along the Rolandsfield main road.
On reaching a section of the road he was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla motor car, registered 1943 EX, driven by James Murray of Dumfries Crescent, Morant Bay.
Reid sustained injuries and was taken to the Princess Margaret's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Golden Grove police are investigating.
