The Editor, Sir: I have been longing to write to THE STAR for some time now, but have been waiting for the right time to express my feelings towards the portrayal/activities of young Jamaican girls. I am a Canadian-Jamaican.

The Editor, Sir: Great one of this entire cosmos, we acknowledge you to be our only source and foundation. We give thanks for our former Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller and whatever good that she has done for this country....

THE EDITOR, Sir: Asafa was awesome; nothing short of brilliant. We should be thankful for an Asafa Powell. He has done us proud on many occasions, so whenever he fails, we must stick by him and still call him our champion.
