A bridge for airport road

The Editor Sir,

I think the relevant authority should think about constructing an overhead bridge from downtown Kingston to the entrance of the Norman Manley International Airport to prevent tragedy if a hurricane strikes. Sand washes up on to the roadway obstructing motorists each time there is a powerful storm.

I think something should be done immediately by the relevant authority to construct the bridge before it is too late. Officials need to pull up their socks before that section of roadway starts taking lives.

I am, etc.,
