At least four people were killed Friday and Saturday night, police reports indicate.
The Hunts Bay police are now probing the circumstances which led to the death of 23-year-old Andrew Steele, otherwise called 'Taco Bell' of Kidd Lane, Kingston 13. He was shot dead by unknown assailants at Henley Road, on Friday.
Reports are that about 12:10 p.m., Steele was walking along Henley Road when a white motor car with two armed men drove up. On seeing the men he ran, but was chased and shot several times. He died on the spot.
Meanwhile, over in Manchester, the police are probing the death of a 60-year-old woman who was found dead at her home in Three Chains.
Police reports are that about 8:30 a.m., family members who had gone to visit Vera Bradford, found her nude body with multiple stab wounds in a section of the house. The police were called and the body removed to the morgue for
post-mortem.
The May Pen police are also looking into the death of a resident of Denbigh Crescent, on Friday night.
Dead is Sheldon Pinnock, 27, also known as Hitler. Police reports are that at 9 p.m., residents heard explosions and summoned the police. When the cops arrived, Pinnock was seen suffering from gunshot wounds on the roadway. He was taken to the May Pen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 29-year-old taxi operator of Tavern Drive, Kintyre, Kingston 6, was shot dead by unknown assailants, on Clarke Street, on Friday evening.
Police reports are that at 6:25 p.m., residents heard an explosion and summoned the police when they arrived, Marvin Oharees, was found on the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Papine police are investigating.
