Still in contention for a place in the second round, a determined St. George's College will look to put considerable distance between themselves and third-place Bridgeport when the teams meet again today for the second time in the Inter-Secondary Schools Association Pepsi/-Digicel Manning Cup.

In their previous encounter, defending champions Bridgeport managed to slip away with a 1-0 victory. It's a tight race to see which two teams will advance from the very competitive Group D. St. George's lead with 16 points, Norman Manley are in second with 14 points and Bridgeport are struggling to maintain their third- place position with 13 points.

Depending on the outcome of the matches played today, goal difference, may well decide the teams that advance.

Over in Group A, Jamaica College and Waterford share the lead with 13 points, while Tivoli have moved into third place with 12 points. St. Jago on 10 points will have to double their efforts today in order to remain in contention and move into the second round.

In Group C, Wolmer's and Calabar are neck and neck with the latter on 20 points, one point ahead of Wolmer's. Wolmer's should be in a commanding position today as they will be looking to shore up their spot at the top of the zone when they play Kingston Technical.

At 3:30 p.m. Group E leaders Charlie Smith, will also be in action when they play Greater Portmore.

Second-place Camperdown will battle Pembroke Hall and Denham Town will travel to Ascot in the group's other games.
