A woman accused of trying to export ganja to Antigua and for unlawful possession of identification documents ap-peared in court on Wednesday.
Annette Harvey, also known as Rose McKoy, pleaded guilty to possession of ganja, dealing in ganja and taking steps to export ganja when the matter was mentioned in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.
However the Clerk of Courts requested another mention date as she said the investigating officer needed more time to determine the true identity of the accused. The conflict is said to have arisen when it was alleged that she was held with ganja, a passport and a voters identification card with conflicting names, but both with her photograph.
Allegations are that on October 14, the accused checked in to a Caribbean Airlines Flight to Antigua. She was stopped by police who interviewed and searched and found three parcels wrapped in brown masking tape containing ganja.
The accused was arrested and charged with the offences. Presiding Resident Magistrate Glen Brown set sentencing for November 1 to allow the police to determine the accused's true identity.
