Hundreds of patrons flocked to the Portmore Pines Plaza for the fourth staging of 'Sweat'.
The venue was almost empty when THE PORTMORE STAR
visited. But this would change in short order as patrons started pouring in.
They were duly entertained by Jazzy T and Colin Hines, and the Asylum DJs, Santana and company had the crowd moving to the latest dancehall music.
Party goers were fed a steady diet of Sizzla, Munga, Junior Gong, Taurus Riley and a host of current artistes who took the stage, starting at 1:30 a.m.
Some well-dressed patrons who wanted to cash in on the best dress prize of $5,000, plus the one-year pass to Asylum, wasted no time showing off their wardrobe. The Hardcopy Girls also passed through, leaving the males
salivating.
It was a night of pure enjoyment and it could be seen and heard. "Bwoy, dis 'Sweat' ya really mad. It off the hook man. Mi love it. A mi first one, but not the last," remarked a skimpily clad woman, while dancing up a storm.
THE PORTMORE STAR enjoyed the clean lyrics of the settings while patrons wasted no time in dancing before the cameras present. At 2:30 a.m., when THE PORTMORE STAR left the venue, persons were still fighting to get in to be a part of what must be a
well-attended 'Sweat'.
