Greater P'more in the lead

Greater Portmore Primary leads Zone C of the St. Catherine INSPORTS Primary Football competition, following a big 5-0 thrashing of Southboro, on Thursday.

The win propelled Greater Portmore to six points from two games, the same as Portsmouth who clipped Gregory Park 2-1. However, Greater Portmore has a superior goal difference. Over in Zone D, Independence City and Bridgeport drew 0-0.

Results of matches played on Thursday. Zone A: Angels 3, Friendship 2; Eltham Park 3, Davis 2; St. John's 1, Crescent 0.

Zone B: St. Catherine 6, St. Jago Prep 0; McCauley 3, Simon 1; Mount Moreland 1, Spanish Town 0. Zone E: Homestead 2, Horizon Park 0; Polly Ground 4, Guy's Hill 1; Jericho 1, Time and Patience 0.

In Junior High (U-15) play, Portmore school Braeton crushed Point Hill 9-0, while White Marl blanked Mount Moreland 4-0.
