Dear Pastor,
I am a 17-year-old girl who is living in Kingston.
I am in a relationship with a guy for over two years. I love him very much, but I am always thinking that he is cheating on me. I am currently in fifth form at a prominent high school in Kingston where I am doing six subjects including Spanish. I am doing very well in school.
The problem is no matter what this guy does to me, I always have the heart to forgive him most of the times for the worst of things.
He helps me financially and I am not in want of anything.
For the past weeks, I can't focus steadily because of him and our relationship problems. But he encourages me a lot to study.
Do you think I should continue this relationship?
S. B., Kingston, Jamaica
Dear S. B.,
This guy and you have been friends for the past two years.
The relationship was not affecting your studies, but now it is. I suggest, therefore, that you tell him that you find it difficult to cope.
Therefore, he should not do anything to upset you. You should also ask him not to call you late at nights.
Pastor
