Waterford Cricket Club to face Portsmouth in semi

Defending champions Waterford C.C. take on former champs Portsmouth in semi-final one of the Petcom Portmore Metropolitan Cricket League tomorrow at Waterford High School grounds.

In the next semi-final, Ken's Wildflower play Belmont Park at the Bridgeport Sports Grounds.

Both games begin at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, Waterford top group B to take the Sharon Hay Webster Cup, while, Ken's Wildflower captured the Ken's Crooks Cup for topping group A.

In games played last Sunday, Ken's Wildflower defeated Reid's Pen by eight wickets at Bridgeport Sports Grounds.

Scores: Reid's Pen 101 all out, Jermaine Benjamin 37 not out, Jermaine Gordon 19; Junior Dale 2-16, Lloyd Rattray 2-20; Ken's 105-2, Kirk Brooks 49 not out, Junior Stewart 29.

At Waterford High School, Waterford cruised to an eight-wicket win over Belmont Park. Scores: Belmont 134 all out, Gavin Graham 40, Mark Grey 20; Courtney Elliot 3-26, Gary Hurbine 2-1, Junior Canegan 2-29.

Waterford 137-2, Neil Moore 54 not out, Adrian Morris 34 not out.
