Dwayne Mcleod, Staff Reporter

Another alleged cop killer was fatally shot by the police on Thursday.

An illegal firearm was also seized in the process.

Dead is 25-year-old Kemar Parks also known as 'Chicken' of an Arnett Gardens address.

It is reported that the police were carrying out an operation in the community when they were fired on by a group of armed men.

The police returned the fire and afterwards Parks was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he later died.

A 9mm pistol was reportedly taken from him.

THE STAR learnt that Parks was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Constable Valentino Chambers of the Hannah Town police.

Police reports said Constable Chambers was shot dead on November 29 after gunmen ambushed his vehicle along Slipe Pen Road in Kingston.
