Lisa Dainjah, born Lisa Mitchell, moved from Manchester to St. Catherine and has been warming the hearts of many for more than 20 years through her music.

Lisa has reinvented herself, removing the 'Dainjah' from her name and replacing it with 'Marie'. She continues to pursue music through her latest single Pot Pon Fire co-written by producer Errol Robinson.

"The song has great potential and is destined to be better than my big hit in 2001 a counteraction, If you Really Care countering Junior Kellys Love So Nice,"Lisa Marie said. She also has a combination with singer Trilla U entitled Party Ride.

Lisa Marie says that for the two decades she has been involved in music, she has performed on several local shows, including Zenith festival in Israel 2002 and a 2006 tour of Spain. "I also tour in England and was living in Trinidad for some time but returned to Portmore here," she said.

She claims to be motivated by Gregory Isaacs, Lady G, URoy, Garnet Silk and other positive artistes.

Lisa Marie claims that what she loves about the industry is the challenge to be on top of your game. For her, the sky is the limit. She will be performing at H2 entertainment complex on Christmas day.
