The function took a dramatic twist much to the delight of the children as the teachers came up to the pulpit area and sang a Christmas Carol, Ms. Sawyers, a grade two teacher at the school, performed an exhortation of Christ. Grade six sang while grade five did a poem Everyday is Christmas.
The event was blessed by the school's choir singing 'The wise may bring their learning'. In between performances students read Bible verses.
Near the close the audience got a treat when the award winning Independence City Primary Dance troupe came on stage to do their 'Christmas Dance'.
