Mrs. McKoy Douglas said that her mother deserved all the accolades that was being bestowed upon her. "She was an ardent community worker, a mother to all in the community."
A businesswoman by profession, Monica McKoy was loved by both sides of the political fence. "She was loving, caring and kind-hearted and loved by people from both the JLP and PNP she didn't take sides, whenever work was given out she made sure people from both sides got," Mrs. Mckoy Douglas said. "Most of all she was a woman of God, everything she did was through Christ."
At the function, Lee charged the people of Braeton to take care of their park, as it was a collaboration with the people of the community and his council.
This is the 11th park opened by the Portmore Municipal Council as part of their thrust towards increasing the green areas in the Sunshine City.
