Dear Pastor,

I live in the States and I go to Jamaica every year for Christmas.

When I'm down there I stay with my cousin. While in Jamaica, I was really attracted to a guy who I later found out was her boyfriend.

After being down there for a month I started to develop strong feelings for him, but I didn't show it. After coming back to the States, I found out they broke up. Her ex and I started calling each other and now we are going together. But I feel like I'm deceiving my cousin by going out with him although I'm in love with him.

Should I continue seeing him or stop? I'm really torn between the two.

I am sure that your cousin would not like what you are doing. I would like to discourage you from going further with this relationship.

Others may disagree with me, but that is the way I see it. Don't cause any rift between you and your cousin.
