The St. Catherine South Homicide Unit is conducting an investigation in a suspected case of murder in the Hellshire area of Portmore, St. Catherine.

Police told THE STAR that at about 1:00 p.m. on Monday Stanley Johnson, 65-year-old watch man, was found dead. His head was bashed in and his body in an advance state of decomposition.

An on-the-spot post-mortem was done and then the body was immediately buried.

A woman who came on the scene told THE STAR that she last saw Johnson alive a few days earlier.

Other persons said that he was a man who always had money in his possession.

Meanwhile, the police said that they have not established any motive for the killing, neither have they identified any suspects.
