How did you get started in the business?

"I started from second form and formed a group in '97 called Step Sister. I later left the business for six years and went off to do fashion, but returned, because music is my first love."

What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

"Being a woman in di business."

What have you been up to lately?

"I did a video for the single called Confident and recently did a song called Profess on the Resident Evil rhythm, and I'm currently working with producer Lenky. I did a new song called No Shy Man. I also went to St Martin in December for an award show and will be going back later this month. Oh, and I'm also a designer, my clothing line is called A Wah Suh."

Do you look up to any specific artiste?

"Of course, Vybz Kartel and Junior Gong, to name a few."

Are you happy with the way things are going for your career right now?

"Well, yes. I know that it's a challenge but I'm pleased so far."

Anything you'd like to change about it?

"Yes, what I would like to do now is to get out there internationally and spiritually. I would like to work with some of the top producers, like Daseca and Don Corleone."

What are your future plans?

"Definitely, apart from a couple of shows I have coming up, I would like to do a video for Profess."
