Human skeletons found

The skeletal remains of two persons, believed to be that of a male and a female, were found in Flint River in Hanover on Wednesday morning, police said.

The CCN's liaison officer for the parish reported that about 6:30 a.m., the remains were discovered by members of a police party.

A black and white T-shirt, pink brassiere, yellow beaded necklace, jeans pants, a pair of white shoes and Reebok sneakers were also found on the scene. The scene was processed and the remains removed for forensic analysis.

Up to press time last night the identity of the two had not been ascertained.
