Body found in pond

The body of an unidentified man believed to be in the late twenties was found in a pond at Palmers Cross, Clarendon, on Thursday.

The body is of dark complexion, medium build, about 170 centimetres long and was clad in a blue and white striped shirt and a pair of black pants.

Reports are that at about 5:30 p.m. residents discovered the body and called the police. The officers retrieved the body from the pond. Close inspection revealed several stab and chop wounds.

The May Pen CIB is investigating.
