Caribbean Classic re-moved long-time leaders Eradication from the top of the CTL-sponsored Portmore Domino League last Sunday, turning in a classic display to beat them 300-264 in the feature 13th-round clash at Caribbean Classic, Portmore Lane.
The match, watched by a large crowd, saw the home team asserting their authority in the second half to win by all of 36 points.
As a result of this victory, Caribbean Classic are now joint leaders with Fort International, both on 57 points from 13 matches. Only a point behind are previous leaders Eradication on 56 from 13, followed by the improving Ackee Pod with 53 points from 13 matches.
Rounding off the top eight in the standings are Eagle View in fifth with 51, Right Stuff 49, Old Harbour United 48 and defending champions Hurricane on 47, all from 13 matches.

Last Sunday, Fort International clipped ISCF 300-296 at Passagefort, Eagle View stopped Hurricane 300-279 at Old Braeton, Correctional Services defeated Seamaster 300-287, Ackee Pod beat Village Link 300-271 at Thompson Pen, Old Harbour United drubbed home team Marlie Mount 300-255, Lime Tree beat JUTC 300-262 at Newland Road, New Look clipped High Roller 300-296 in an exciting countdown at Lakes Pen, Prozz and Cons got by Ken's Wildflower 300-287 at Church Pen and Masterpiece beat Right Stuff 300-294.
Tomorrow's big 14th-round clash pits second-placed Eradication (home team) against joint leaders Fort International in the feature match at Gregory Park, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Right Stuff are up against Caribbean Classic in a home match at Cedar Grove Road, while ISCF take on Correctional Services at Back Road and Eagle View journey to Old Harbour Road to meet Old Harbour United.
