Dear Pastor,
I am a player. Yes, I have been with so many women that I can't even remember the number. The thing is there were times when I only had one woman and really tried to work it out, but something always seemed to go wrong. Each time one relationship does not work, I have to find another because I just can't be alone.
I am miserable when I am alone. I live alone and I sometimes go home only when I want to sleep. I am really trying to have a good, functional relationship and I think I will give it my all. I give love, affection and money. In fact, you name it, I try to give it to my woman. But, I don't know.
I am wondering if I am in denial thinking I can make it work. Maybe I am a player and I just can't do anything about it. I need some serious advice on what to do. I need to know if something is wrong with me as I have been told or what.

Dear D.W.,
You said in the first paragraph of your letter that you are a player. Now you are questioning in the final paragraph whether you are a player. I suggest that you make an appointment and see a psychologist if you are serious about wanting to change your lifestyle.
