ANTHONY Nunes' ROYAL IMAGE should be a banker on every Super-6 and Pick-9 bet, chasing $2.3 million worth of guaranteed jackpots at Caymanas Park tomorrow afternoon.

Smooth sailing in Wednesday's first five races had Super-6 and Pick-9 players flying high. However, a string of upsetters, ending with KING AL winning at an unlikely 1300 metres in the 10th event, resulted in a Pick-9 carryover of $1.06 million in addition to a Hi-Five jackpot of $263,822.50.

The Super-6, which paid out a handsome $699,125.50 after SIR KHAN landed the ninth event at 9-1, upsetting 3-5 favourite SMOOTH DUDE, has two games tomorrow afternoon, each guaranteed at $500,000, starting at the first and seventh events, respectively.

ROYAL IMAGE, seen as COMMANDER ZERO's main threat for next month's 2000 Guineas, is a sound late Super-6 and Pick-9 banker in the 1400-metre Prince Consort Stakes, which is being run as the 11th event.

An impressive 15-length winner on February 23, ROYAL IMAGE excited at exercise on Sunday morning, stopping watches in 1:12.0 for six furlongs, putting away Dwight Chen's CLASSY BOY PETE.

In what is bound to be his last run before the April 5 Guineas, ROYAL IMAGE is a free banker as champion trainer Wayne DaCosta's THE REAL STREAM, out for the second time in a week following a disappointing fourth-place run behind SUPER DAVE, will have to show a complete reversal of form to topple Nunes' runner.

Thornbird Stakes

Unlike the Prince Consort Stakes, the Thornbird Stakes for fillies is a bit knotty and should be approached with caution.

DaCosta's pair of HEART OF GOLD and AWHOFAH, Gary Subratie's LADY LIZ, Nunes' IT IS I and Fitznahum Williams' ALSAFRA are all working well at exercise and none can be taken lightly.

Late Super-6 and Pick-9 players should take no risk and pad this event to stay in the race for what could be million-dollar payouts.

GALLAVANTER in the eighth at 1500 metres and SMOOTHABILITY in the 12th at 1300 metres are also solid late Super-6 and Pick-9 bankers.

GALLAVANTER gets a cheap field in the eighth and SMOOTHABILITY should post another his awesome front-running victory among conditional overnight allowance company.

Early Super-6 players should bank JACK BE GOOD for a flying start in the first, down-in-class MEDICAL ACCOUNT in the fourth at 1400 metres and NATURAL HEART should be better than Maidens at 1700 metres, returning off a three-month lay-up, fitted with a visor and lasix administered.

This weekend's early Super-6, should go to the combination of 6/1,3,4,5,6/1,2/7/1,2,4,8/9, races one to six, at a cost of $200 for a shot at $500,000.

The Pick-9, which starts at the fourth event, looks good with 7/1,2,4,8/9/2,6/5/4,6,8,9,12/7,9,10/2/14 at a cost of $600 for a chance to sweep the $1.06m carryover.

The late Super-6 combination of 2,6/5/4,6,8,9,12/7,9,10/2/14, starting at the seventh race, will cost just $150 and is worth a shot at $500,000.

For just under $1,000, $2m could be a reality.
