A pedestrian and a motorcyclist were killed in separate incidents on Sunday, police are reporting.

A pedestrian was killed after she was hit by a motor car on the Bull Bay main road in St. Andrew.

The dead woman has been identified as 44-year-old Alecia Tomlinson otherwise called "Hya" of Cane River Fall Road, Seven Miles, Bull Bay.

Police reports are that about 11:16 p.m., Tomlinson was crossing the main road in Seven Miles, Bull Bay when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla motor car. She sustained multiple injuries and was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Harbour View police are investigating.

Meanwhile, a man was killed after the motorcycle he was driving crashed on the Little London main road in Westmoreland.

The dead man has been identified as Eric Heron 45, of Broughton district, Little London.

Police reports are that about 3:00 a.m., Mr. Heron was driving his Futong motorcycle registered 0647 G along the Little London main road. On reaching a section of the roadway, the motorcycle crashed into a parked Freightliner truck registered PT 5678.

Heron sustained injuries and was taken to the Sav-la-Mar Hospital where he died whilst undergoing treatment.

The Little London Police are investigating.
